On Nov. 13th, join activists across the country as we plan nation-wide activities to urge #MoscowMitch and our Senators to pass $600 million in election security funding and to include accountability language to ensure the money is well-spent.
The Election Security Strategic Team (ESST) will host a pizza party where we will target #MoscowMitch and we will have fun doing it! Join us to:
• Write postcards & letters
• Make phone calls
• Tweet at him

Last month, democracy advocates organized dozens of events, and made thousands of phone calls, calling on the Senate to fund election security. As a result, Senator Mitch McConnell announced his support for $250M for election security.
Our activism worked! #MoscowMitch was forced to include $250 million in funding for election security, but it’s a small sum compared to the $600M passed by the House to secure the vote.
We have a few weeks left before the critical funding deadline on November 21, and election security experts are warning that many states and localities have election systems that are vulnerable to hacking and external actors.
