–August 12 Salon at Vincent: Marie Newman speaker
Her campaign against Dan Lipinski is being hampered by the DCCC policy of blacklisting vendors who work with challengers to incumbent Dems – no matter the incumbent’s policies or voting record.
–Nick U., as campaign manager, suggested visiting Pod Save America to join her campaign. Canvassing will start at the end of this month.
–Marj to work with Nick to implement the salon.
–September 9 Salon at Vincent:
Reproductive Rights – speakers TBD. Rhona and Marj to develop program.
Midwest Action Coalition: https://midwestaccesscoalition.org/ provides service and money to help clients pay the bare minimum for their procedure, including travel, hotel stays, childcare, food, and other costs.

The purpose of our weekly Thursday meetings is to create a regular community opportunity to catch up on Indivisible national, state, and local issues. Come early and stay late to socialize, but we will start and end the meeting on time.
