Join Democratic congressional candidates Marie Newman (IL03) and Robert Emmons, Jr. (IL01) for Gun Violence Prevention: Commitment for Change, a town hall on Saturday, June 22nd in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood.
We plan to discuss major issues with gun violence in our communities and commit to solutions that will reduce all levels of violence. For the first half of the event (2:00-3:00 PM), we will take questions from community organizations and grassroots leaders that are invested in the gun violence prevention movement. The second half of the event (3:00-4:00 PM) will feature audience Q&A and a time to chat directly with the candidates.
There is no cost to attend the event. The town hall will be moderated by Berto Aguayo.
