Feminists: What Were They Thinking? Film Screening

There have been major strides that feminism has made possible since the 1970s, but we still have to keep up the fight. This film examines the relationship between feminism then and now–what has changed as well as what makes the fight for equality today quite familiar for some.

Join NARAL and Indivisible IL9 Andersonville-Edgewater for a free screening of Feminists: What Were They Thinking?, a Netflix documentary that discusses the women that led the feminist movement and how to continue our efforts in the Trump administration.

Following the film, NARAL’s head organizer for Illinois will lead discussion, sharing updates on NARAL’s work in 2019 to broaden our coalition and include as many voices as possible in the fight for reproductive freedom.

This event will take place monthly with a different film and topic!
