Cannabis Equity Lobby Day

Join us Tuesday, May 7th for a Cannabis Equity Lobby Day in Springfield!

Our goal is to advocate for legislation that is equitable and puts black and brown people at the forefront for opportunity.

We are also demanding:

-THE CREATION OF A CANNABIS CAUCUS

CANNABIS EQUITY

-Prioritizing black and brown communities that have been affected by the war on drugs over large corporations who seek to join the game.

-Want to make sure there is money set aside for minority start ups and people who might otherwise be priced out of the growing (and resale) Cannabis market.

-Create cannabis business incubators for disadvantaged communities.

-Prioritizing local people and communities to become small business: home grown entrepreneurship (Ease access for existing cannabis entrepreneurs).

-Create Cannabis Equity Fund that gives grants to all the above.

CANNABIS REPARATIONS:

-Give social incentives for corporations to establish some type of Fund to assist with individual persons in clearing their records of cannabis offenses (cannabis reparations).

-Cannabis Licensing programs available to people currently incarcerated (Cannabis Trade Program), especially juveniles (17-24).

If you would like to join us, please fill out this google form by April 26th:
