The panel will discuss their reaction to the film, their own work on reproductive rights/reproductive justice issues, and how this film is relevant, or not, to today.

Moderator: Dr. Erin McCarthy, Associate Professor of History and Oral History at Columbia College Chicago.

Martha Scott, former member of the Abortion Counseling Service, otherwise known as the Jane collective.

Dr. Elena Gutierrez, Associate Professor of Gender and Women’s Studies and Latin American and Latino Studies at UIC, author of Fertile Matters: The Politics of Mexican-Origin Reproduction.

Megan Jeyifo, Executive Director of the Chicago Abortion Fund and reproductive justice activist.
